Identity, patriotism and Loving our Neighbour Friday 24th April
The focus of this retreat day, the day after St George’s Day, is what it means to have a national
identity and a Christian identity. Together we will explore our identity in Christ and patriotism; how the
call to love our neighbours frames our love of country and how we understand ourselves as citizens of
‘two cities’.

Grant me the Serenity ... Friday 29th May
Based on the prayer originally offered by Reinhold Niebuhr, this day will explore ways in which
we can accept with peace things we cannot change, ways to find courage for the things we can and the
wisdom to know that very small and internal changes make a difference.

Being Who you are on Purpose Friday 26th June                                                                                                                                                        FREE RETREAT DAY (BOOKING ESSENTIAL)
Due to a generous donation, we are offering this vocation–focussed retreat day at no charge. During
the day we will explore the idea of our individual and communal vocation and focus on the unique
ways in which we are each part of God’s glorious creation.

Feeding the 5000: Food, climate, and God’s generosity Friday 24th July
Examining one of the few stories to appear in all four Gospels, we will reflect on Jesus’
Feeding of 5000, exploring ways it might inform our own approach to food. Acknowledging the
environmental impact of our diets we will consider what it might mean to receive God’s generosity
whilst also enabling others across the world to experience the same.
