We are very excited to share that we are now looking for volunteers to join our team at Salt, the newly refurbished cathedral café. We will be opening to the public from 2nd May.
Our vision for Salt is to be a warm and welcoming space, where everyone can feel at home. We are very eager to build a regular customer base and hope to be the go-to venue for our cathedral community, cathedra visitors, wider diocese and city dwellers. As a volunteer within the Front of House team, you will be an integral part of creating that welcoming atmosphere, a place that people look forward to returning to. You will be responsible for hosting, greeting customers as they come in and explaining the ordering process, as well as assisting with the clean and clear duties.
We will require one volunteer to work between the hours of 12noon and 2pm daily during our busy lunchtime period. The rota would very much depend on how many volunteers are interested in undertaking the role and their individual availability. See below for a full role description.
